This one day symposium bridges research and practice, and offers excellent opportunities for mutual learning and (inter)national networking. International best practices for HIV prevention among transgender people are showcased and attention is paid to national and international challenges. The organizers invite interested activists and researchers to join in dialogue on how HIV prevention among transgender individuals can be optimized. To achieve this goal, successful approaches from the Global South and Global North are presented and followed by gap analyses.
